Revolución proposes 7 compositions that draw their influence from a long trip in Cuba. Like musical postcards, they relate the emotions and impressions that I experienced during my trip. All the pieces have been composed over a three-month period; some in Cuba, others when I returned home to Montreal.

John Sadowy - Piano

A graduate of McGill University's Jazz Performance Program, John Sadowy is an accomplished and versatile performer and studio musician in the realm of jazz and Latin music in Montreal. John has performed and recorded with Canadian jazz artists Ranee Lee, Mireille Proulx, George Evans, Joel Miller, Christiikne Jensen, Brad Turner and Ingrid Jensen. John is a member of the Montreal Jazz Big Band, with whom he has been featured in numerous festival appearances. In addition, John is first-call on the Latin and Brazilian music scene, most notably with the groups Gaïa, Mandinga, Maracujá and Joe Armando. He can also be heard in concert with the Quebec star Gildor Roy's Latin project as well as with the eclectic singer/songwriter Edgar BORI. John's rich and varied musical experience has led to performances the world over, most notably the Cervantino Festival in Mexico, the Santa Lucia Jazz Festival, the Maré de Agosto festival in the Azores, and even Carnegie Hall.
Mike Dumont - Guitar

For over 25 years guitarist Mike Dumont has been exploring, playing live, and recording in a broad spectrum of musical styles. Mike cut his teeth playing hundreds of gigs on the west coast of Canada before moving to Montreal in 1990 to study at McGill university. Over the years he has found himself playing and recording for pop artists, touring with the Cirque du Soleil, leading his own blues band, playing in theater productions, and contributing his guitar voice to a rich tapestry of musical endeavours.
Adrian Vedady - Upright bass

With a reputation as a double bassist with a strong sense of swing and a lyrical solo voice, it’s no wonder Adrian Vedady has had the honour of playing in the groups of such Montreal Jazz artists as Yannick Rieu, Erik Hove, Richard White, Daniel Thouin, Jean Beaudet, Thuryn Von Prancke and Carl Naud. Adrian is a vital part of the creative Montreal music scene, in addition of all the artists he has accompanied, he is leading his own ensemble and co-leading the group Gods of taste.
Max Sansalone - Drums

Max Sansalone is a freelance drummer who's based in Montreal,Canada. For many years, he toured across Europe, the United States and Canada and recorded with Master DJ, Kid Koala and the band Bullfrog. He now freelances in studio work, live playing and teaching in many different genres of music. He has worked with : Slim Williams, Gage, Dan Thouin, Oscar Stagnaro, Corneille, Daniel Lavoie, Adam Shaki, Dessy DiLauro to only name a few.
